The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has appealed to the Muslim Ummah to pray for liberation of Kashmiris from Indian yoke on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In messages from Tihar Jail, detained APHC chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt and senior APHC leader Shabbir Ahmad Shah extended Eid greetings to the Muslim Ummah in general and Kashmiris in particular.
They said although Eid is a day of happiness and blessings, but Kashmiris had so far missed the real spirit of this day because of atrocities and cruel behavior of Indian forces.
The leaders said unfortunately the situation in Kashmir has multiplied our sorrows as we are receiving coffins of youngsters, our dignity and honour are at stake and the numbers of widows and orphans are rising.
They said Kashmiris must reinvigorate their movement against Indian occupation to fulfill the mission of our martyrs for the right to self-determination.
