The spillways of Islamabad’s Rawal Dam will be opened from 6 pm on Monday as the water level has reached 1751 feet.
The spillways will remain open till 11:00 tonight.
Islamabad administration has directed all response units, departments, monitoring camps and relief camps to remain alert.
Police Reserves and law enforcement agencies will also be deployed along the Korang river to implement section 144 and take strict action against anyone violating and entering the Korang River.
