Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad has strongly condemned the Jaranwala incident.
Addressing a news conference along with leaders from other faiths in Lahore on Friday, he said the elements involved in the incident should be punished at any cost.
The Chairman said our religion teaches peace, religious harmony and it is the responsibility of the state to ensure the protection of rights of every citizen.
He said the nation will not allow the conspiracies of hostile elements to succeed in Pakistan.
