The 48th edition of the Grand Hajj Symposium, titled “Observing Sharia Permissions and Adherence to the Regulations Approved in the Hajj Rite,” kicked off in Makkah today.
Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is hosting the event, which will be attended by nearly 500 people, including scholars and thinkers from across the Islamic world.
The Symposium is aimed at unifying and improving efforts in educating pilgrims about performing Hajj rituals.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain is representing Pakistan in the symposium.
