Pakistan and the United States have agreed to befittingly celebrate 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries this year.

The understanding came at a meeting between the Head of the U.S. delegation to OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting, Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights, Ms. Uzra Zeya and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in Islamabad.

The Foreign Minister said the U.S. delegation’s participation in the session would help deepen engagement between the United States and the OIC member countries.

The Foreign Minister said that Pak-US relationship is vital to promote peace, development, and security in the region and beyond.
