After a series of successful meetings between Kashmir Premier League (Pvt.) Limited management and the Franchisees, the formation of the League Council has been completed for smooth running of the League’s upcoming and future seasons.
In future, all commercial and operational matters related to KPLPL and its tournaments would be managed in an open and transparent manner through the League Council which will comprise of one member from KPL and one member from each Franchise.
Appointment of Managing Director, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Commercial Officer and a renowned audit firm who will professionally run KPL, will be contracted on merit through a transparent manner thereby further augmenting the League.
President KPL through a Board Resolution is nominated as the authorized representative of the League Council and to deal with all the Franchisees on behalf of KPL.
Mr. Tauqir Sultan Awan, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, The Bagh Stallions (Pvt.) Limited has been elected as the Chairman of the KPL Council for the first term.
KPL and the Franchisees are confident that by setting the example of forming the League Council, the tournaments and all its stakeholders will benefit and ensure transparency and success of Kashmir Premier League Season-2 and beyond.
