Shakir Hussain Dawar has joined Islamabad Police as DIG/CPO, Law & Order and Training. His educational qualification is M.Phil in International Relations from Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. He joined police service in 2005 as ASP and belongs to 32nd C.T.P. He has served in the provinces of Baluchistan and Punjab for the last sixteen years served in many field and staff assignments including commanding seven districts as DPO/CPO. Besides having vast experience in field policing he has also served in C.T.D, Special Branch, Traffic Police and Central Police Offices of the two provinces. He has obtained professional training through many inland & foreign training courses in the field of terrorism, human rights, human trafficking, transnational drugs smuggling, community policing, forensic crime investigation, money laundering & white-collar crimes etc. He is committed to serve Islamabad police by contributing into enhancement of professional skills and efficiency of ICT police.
