Caretaker Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi has reiterated government’s determination to ensure free, fair and transparent elections in the country.
During a meeting with Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani at the Parliament House Islamabad today, he said the caretaker government is a product of the constitution and we are bound to implement the constitution and law.
The meeting emphasized the importance of open dialogue and facilitating access to information in transparent governance and democratic processes.
The Minister said responsible journalism is the need of the hour as the society can take the right direction only with impartial and responsible journalism.
The Chairman Senate highlighted the importance of a vibrant and impartial media to uphold the fundamental values of democracy.
He said media acts as a guardian of these fundamental values by providing citizens with accurate, timely and unbiased information.
