APHC urges Kashmiris to observe shutdown on Sunday

In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has appealed to people to observe strike on Sunday to commemorate the martyrdom anniversaries of prominent freedom leader, Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Muhammad Afzal Guru.

At a high-level meeting of its Majlis-e-Shoora in Srinagar, the APHC while paying rich tributes to Kashmiri martyrs, said India has failed to break the resolve of Kashmiris by hanging them for the crimes they have not committed.

The meeting also appealed to the international human rights organizations to take cognizance of the plight of the Kashmiri prisoners of conscience, languishing in the death cells of Tihar, Agra and other Indian jails.
