Pakistan has improved its ranking on United Nations human development index by four points from last year.

According to latest report of UN Development Program, Pakistan ranks 161st with 0.544 points on a list of 191 countries.

Pakistan stood 164th at the index last year with 0.540 points.

The UN Human Development Index (HDI) quantifies a country’s level of prosperity based on both economic and non-economic factors including life expectancy, educational attainment and per capita income.
