Minister for Industries and Production Rana Tanveer Hussain says the country has ample stock of urea fertilizer for Kharif season.
Chairing a meeting in Islamabad, he said it has been decided to introduce toll free numbers to receive complaints regarding urea price hike.
He said a unified pricing mechanism will be implemented across the country from Rabi season . He said retail price should be uniform across the country.
Rana Tanveer said the provinces and the companies should monitor Urea Prices.
The Minister directed Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority to check value-added urea products of fertilizer companies.
The representatives of Fertilizer Companies said all manufacturing units will operate at full capacity to meet local demand of urea.
