President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have felicitated the Pakistan hockey team on their victory against France in the semi-final of the FIH Nations Cup.
In their separate statements on Friday, they commended the players and the team management for their performance.
President Zardari remarked that the national team has elevated Pakistan’s standing on the international stage. He added that this victory has brought immense pride and joy to the nation.
Prime Minister Sharif extended his congratulations to the entire nation on Pakistan’s qualification for the final. He said the national hockey team displayed outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
Both the President and the Prime Minister expressed confidence that the team will achieve success in the final as well.
