Prime Minster Shehbaz Sharif has directed Ministry of Religious Affairs to immediately initiate planning and logistical arrangements for next year’s Hajj.
He was presiding over a review meeting regarding the arrangements of Hajj for upcoming year in Islamabad on Saturday.
The Prime Minister instructed to devise a roadmap that must align with the Hajj policy issued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He said that negligence in serving the Hajj pilgrims will not be accepted next year.
Shehbaz Sharif also directed relevant authorities to regularize the Private Hajj scheme.
The Prime Minister ordered to present a plan of action soon after determining the period of Hajj for upcoming year.
Federal Ministers Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, Musadik Malik, and relevant senior officials were also present on this occasion.
