
A meeting was held at the Punjab Emergency Service Office Khushab under the chairmanship of District Emergency Officer Ali Hussain to review the emergency performance report for the month of February.
The District Emergency Officer stated that the Punjab Emergency Service received a total of 8,348 calls during the past month, out of which 2,875 were emergency calls. Maintaining its standard response time, the service rescued 2,885 victims.

During the month, Rescue 1122 handled 330 road traffic accidents, 2,171 medical emergencies, 27 fire incidents, 51 crime-related emergencies, and 296 other emergencies. These included workplace injuries, animal and bird rescue operations, and various other incidents.
Rescue personnel provided first aid on the spot to 964 people with minor injuries, while 1,868 seriously affected individuals were given timely medical assistance and shifted to local hospitals.
Regarding the Patient Referral Service, the officer further informed that 219 patients were shifted from one government hospital to another government hospital with proper medical care to ensure better treatment facilities.
