Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced to provide major financial assistance for wheat growers owning up to 25 acres of land.

In her post on social media platform X, she said wheat producers will be given per liter subsidy worth 150 rupees on ten litres diesel per acre.

The Chief Minister said hike in petroleum prices during ongoing global crisis is causing raise in fuel prices in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister has also announced a relief package to facilitate registered motorcycle owners.

According to package, bike registration and transfer fee charges have been exempted.

A monthly subsidy worth two thousand rupees will be provided for 20 litre petrol on every registered bike.
