SP Safe City Amir Mushtaq visited Khushab Smart City, where Manager Safe City Waseem Laghari and Assistant Manager Bilal Ahmed gave him a detailed briefing on modern security systems.
During the visit, he was informed about live camera monitoring, the Virtual Women Police Station, Virtual Child Safety services, Police 15, and the free Wi-Fi program launched under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The briefing highlighted that advanced systems such as ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) and panic buttons are fully operational in Khushab, playing a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of citizens.
It was further shared that a live e-challan system will soon be launched in the district, which will help improve the enforcement of traffic laws and promote transparency.
Officials stated that the Safe City project is a significant step toward crime prevention and the provision of immediate assistance to the public through modern technology.
