A delegation of the Christian community met with the Superintendent of Police (SP) Investigation, Sargodha, and expressed gratitude over the excellent security arrangements made by the police during Easter and other recent religious events.
During the meeting, Christian leaders stated that Sargodha Police had ensured exemplary security arrangements at churches and public places during Easter. They added that due to the alert and professional duty of police personnel, the Christian community was able to celebrate their religious rituals and festivities in a peaceful and fear-free environment.
On the occasion, the SP Investigation thanked the delegation and stated that the protection of minorities’ rights and religious places is the responsibility of the state and the foremost duty of the police. He further said that this harmony between police and the public guarantees peace in society.
He added that all important events are monitored through CCTV cameras and special police deployment to ensure that no miscreant can succeed in any malicious agenda.
