Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said Pakistan is moving towards economic stabilization through disciplined reforms.
He was virtually addressing the media at the launch of the Ministry’s Monthly Development Report .
The Minister highlighted Pakistan’s macroeconomic stability, development progress, and strategic responses to emerging global challenges.
He said large-scale manufacturing recorded a strong recovery of 5.9 percent growth during first eight months of the current fiscal year. He said remittances touched the mark of 30.3 billion dollars, while exports of goods and services reached 30.6 billion dollars during first nine months of the current fiscal year. The current account also showed resilience, posting a surplus of 1.07 billion dollars last month.
