Under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Dr. Haroon Ahmed Shiraz, a crackdown against illegal smuggled cigarettes is ongoing in Noorpur Thal. The Para Force is conducting raids at various locations and taking strict action against those involved in the sale of smuggled cigarettes.
According to officials, a large quantity of illegal and smuggled cigarettes has been recovered and taken into custody during these operations, while legal proceedings are also being initiated against the individuals involved. The objective of this campaign is not only to eliminate illegal trade but also to prevent losses to the national exchequer.
Assistant Commissioner Dr. Haroon Ahmed Shiraz stated that indiscriminate action against those involved in illegal activities will continue, and no one will be allowed to take the law into their own hands. He also appealed to citizens to identify such elements so that effective action can be ensured.
