A meeting of the District Disaster Management Authority was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, to review preparedness measures for potential emergencies.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner evaluated the steps and arrangements made by relevant departments to tackle flood situations, hill torrents, and other emergency scenarios. Officials briefed the chair on ongoing preparations and response strategies.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Khushab Chaudhry Ziaullah, DSP Sadr Zulfiqar Ahmed, Deputy Director Agriculture Extension Abdul Majeed Khan, CEO Education Muhammad Isa Lali, XEN Irrigation Khushab Ali Raza, CEO Municipal Committee Sundas Rabeel, Rescue 1122 In-charge Ali Hussain, SDO Irrigation Khushab, and Sub-Engineer Highways Gul Hassan, along with other officers from various departments.
