Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal visited the residence of Shaheed Muhammad Qadir, a martyr of Marka-e-Haq, in Pasrur.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the nation will never forget the sacrifices rendered by those who embraced martyrdom in Marka-e-Haq. He said the entire nation is proud of the martyrs who laid down their lives for the beloved homeland, adding that the government salutes all those who sacrificed their lives in this battle.
Ahsan Iqbal said the Pakistan Army has made the country’s defence capabilities a global phenomenon.
Later, the Minister also visited the residence of 19-year-old martyr Farhan Sohail in Pasrur and expressed solidarity with the bereaved families.
