Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, chaired a meeting regarding revenue recovery, monthly performance of officers, and the filing of revenue-related cases under the Revenue Case Management System (RCMS).
The meeting was attended by ADC (Revenue) Abdullah Khan, AC Khushab Chaudhry Ziaullah, Tehsildar Athar Shirazi, Naib Tehsildar Rana Mushtaq, and officers from the Land Record Center, Revenue, and the PLUS Project. AC Noor Pur Dr. Haroon Ahmed Shiraz, AC Quaidabad Chaudhry Haseeb-ur-Rehman, and AC Nowshera Samina Bashir participated via video link.
In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to provide prompt and affordable justice to the public in revenue matters, the Revenue Case Management System (RCMS) has been launched. Officials of the Revenue Case Management System Authority briefed the Deputy Commissioner on its features and implementation.
Tehsildar Khushab Athar Shirazi also briefed the Deputy Commissioner on revenue-related operations, including mauzas, khawajaat, khasra records, the nature of revenue cases, and details of disposed and pending cases. Later, he informed the participants about new applications and procedures under RCMS, stating that the system has simplified revenue matters for citizens. Key features include time-saving processes, elimination of manual practices, online and real-time hearings, access to case details, current case status, and other facilities.
Under this system, applicants will be able to file petitions online through a digital platform. Both petitioners and lawyers will be able to present their stance in revenue cases. Facilities such as stay orders and scheduling of next hearing dates will also be available.
The District Collector will have full authority to reverse decisions in disputed revenue cases. Citizens of District Khushab have welcomed this initiative of the Punjab Chief Minister.
