Pakistan and Bangladesh have agreed to enhance cooperation in the fields of trade, business, and culture.

The understanding was reached during a meeting between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Bangladesh’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam in Dhaka today (Sunday).

Both sides also emphasized increasing the exchange of delegations to further strengthen commercial and cultural ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two leaders held detailed discussions on bilateral relations, the regional situation, and Pakistan’s conciliatory role in promoting peace and stability in the region.

The Bangladeshi State Minister for Foreign Affairs appreciated Pakistan’s mediation efforts aimed at resolving the Iran-US dispute.

The upcoming visit of the Bangladeshi Foreign Minister to Pakistan also came under discussion during the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan offers vast opportunities for foreign investment.
