Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Dr. Musadik Malik says the federal and provincial governments in Pakistan are implementing various projects to combat climate-induced challenges.
Addressing 13th session of World Urban Forum in Baku, he highlighted the devastation caused by floods in recent years in Pakistan.
He said the floods pushed many affected families back into poverty after destroying their homes.
Musadik Malik emphasized that affordable housing should be treated as a basic right of all citizens.
