Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani says Pakistan’s youth are the nation’s bright future, and education built on research and innovation is key to sustainable development.
Speaking at the University of Lahore’s graduation ceremony today, he said steps are being taken to align education with modern technology.
He said that the University has earned a leading position among higher education institutions in the country.
The Chairman Senate urged graduates to stay curious, resilient, and open to new ideas.
He highlighted government initiatives such as the Prime Minister’s Entrepreneurship Challenge Programme, internship schemes, and increased funding for universities in underdeveloped areas to create new opportunities for young Pakistanis.
Later, Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani awarded medals and certificates to students who excelled in their studies.
