United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has praised Pakistan’s role in regional diplomacy and de-escalation efforts amid tensions involving Iran
Speaking at the IISS Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore today, he specifically credited COAS and CDF, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their roles in peace efforts.
He said that an unexpected development and a growing friendship are emerging between the United States and Pakistan, which he described as very important.
Pete Hegseth also mentioned President Donald Trump’s role for peace between India and Pakistan.
