Special ceremonies were held in Karachi and Lahore Garrisons to pay tribute to the martyrs and Ghazis of the Pakistan Army for their unparalleled sacrifices, selfless service, and enduring spirit of patriotism.

During the ceremony in Karachi, the Ghazis and families of the martyrs were awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military), Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military), and Tamgha-e-Basalat in recognition of their outstanding services and sacrifices.

The Corps Commander Karachi attended the ceremony as the chief guest.

He interacted with the families of the martyrs and paid rich tribute to the supreme sacrifices rendered by the nation’s brave sons.

Senior military officers and close relatives of the martyrs also attended the ceremony.

A similar ceremony was held in Lahore Garrison to honour the martyrs and Ghazis of the Pakistan Army.

The General Officer Commanding (GOC) Lahore Garrison was the chief guest on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, he reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to providing every possible support and assistance to the families of the martyrs and Ghazis.

The GOC Lahore Garrison said that the martyrs and Ghazis are the nation’s true strength and pride, adding that their eternal sacrifices will never be forgotten.
