Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar, and District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab, Syeda Ammara Shirazi, conducted a special visit to the routes of Muharram processions in Noorpur Thal Tehsil to review security, sanitation, and other administrative arrangements.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner and DPO met with procession organizers, mourners, license holders, and representatives of various schools of thought. On the occasion, all participants assured the district administration and police of their full cooperation to ensure the peaceful observance of Muharram.

The officials also inspected the Central Imambargah at Jamali Balochan and received a detailed briefing on the security plan prepared for Muharram-ul-Haram. Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal Dr. Haroon Ahmed Shiraz, DSP Police, SHO Noorpur, officials of the Municipal Committee, and officers from other relevant departments were also present.

The DSP and SHOs of the concerned police stations briefed the Deputy Commissioner and DPO on the security arrangements, deployment of police personnel, and overall management of the procession routes. Later, the Deputy Commissioner and DPO met with the management of the Imambargah and discussed security and cleanliness measures.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar said that strict monitoring of Imambargahs and procession routes would be ensured during Muharram-ul-Haram, and comprehensive security arrangements would be put in place. He added that police personnel and other law enforcement agencies had been assigned specific responsibilities to provide a safe and peaceful environment for mourners.

DPO Syeda Ammara Shirazi stated that a comprehensive security plan was being implemented across the district to maintain law and order during Muharram, with special surveillance at all sensitive locations.

The Deputy Commissioner also directed officials of the Municipal Committee Noorpur Thal and the Suthra Punjab Program to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness around Imambargahs, religious gatherings, and procession routes. He further instructed the relevant departments to keep all procession routes clean and well-maintained on a daily basis throughout Muharram.
The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining peace, religious harmony, and brotherhood during Muharram-ul-Haram through close coordination among all government departments and law enforcement agencies.
