All Youm-e-Ashura processions and religious gatherings (Majalis) across Tehsil Noorpur Thal concluded peacefully under comprehensive security arrangements.
Zuljanah processions were held in Noorpur Thal, Rangpur Baghor, Jamali Balochan, Jora Kalan, Adhi Kot, Chan Wadhi Panah Khel, Pulwan, and other surrounding localities. The processions followed their traditional routes and concluded without any untoward incident.
Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal, Dr. Haroon Ahmad Shiraz, and the DSP Noorpur paid tribute to all police officers and personnel who performed their duties during Muharram-ul-Haram. The Assistant Commissioner said that comprehensive security arrangements had been made to ensure the peaceful observance of Youm-e-Ashura.
He appreciated the dedicated services of the Police, Elite Force, Muhafiz Squad, Traffic Police, Patrolling Police, Rescue 1122, Health Department, Special Branch, office staff, volunteers, district administration, Local Government, Suthra Punjab workers, and officials of all other departments.
He also commended the leaders of all schools of thought, members of the Peace Committee, and media representatives for their valuable contributions to maintaining peace and harmony throughout Muharram.
The Assistant Commissioner further paid special tribute to the people of Tehsil Noorpur Thal for their exemplary cooperation and responsible conduct, stating that their support played a vital role in maintaining law and order during the observance of Muharram-ul-Haram.
