Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, hosted a dignified farewell ceremony in honor of Assistant Commissioner Khushab, Chaudhry Ziaullah, and Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal, Dr. Haroon Ahmad Shiraz, on their transfer from the district.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner presented both officers with commemorative shields, certificates of appreciation, and honorary awards in recognition of their outstanding services. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber praised their dedication, professionalism, and exemplary performance during their approximately one-and-a-half-year tenure in District Khushab.
He said that both officers served the people of Khushab and Noorpur Thal with honesty, commitment, and compassion, working tirelessly to address public issues and ensure efficient service delivery. Their contributions, he remarked, would always be remembered with appreciation.
The Deputy Commissioner further stated that transfers and postings are an integral part of government service and expressed his best wishes for the officers’ future assignments, praying for their continued success in their professional careers.
The ceremony was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Khushab, Ghazala Kanwal; Assistant Commissioner Quaidabad, Haseeb Ur Rehman; the newly appointed Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal, Shazia Rehman; and other district officials.
Later, Dr. Haroon Ahmad Shiraz formally handed over the charge of Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal to the newly appointed Assistant Commissioner, Shazia Rehman. The charge-taking ceremony was also attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Ghazala Kanwal and other senior officers, who extended their best wishes to the outgoing officer and welcomed the new Assistant Commissioner to her assignment.
