Newly appointed Assistant Commissioner Shazia Rehman has formally assumed charge of her office in Tehsil Noorpur Thal and has officially begun performing her duties. Her appointment marks a new administrative development in the tehsil. Her predecessor, Dr. Haroon Ahmed Shiraz, has been transferred to Kabirwala.
Soon after taking charge, Assistant Commissioner Shazia Rehman chaired an introductory and administrative meeting with revenue officers, officials, and other relevant staff. The meeting reviewed revenue administration, public service delivery, effective implementation of government policies, office performance, and measures to ensure timely relief for the public.
Addressing the meeting, Assistant Commissioner Shazia Rehman stated that public service, transparency, merit, and the prompt resolution of public issues with professionalism and courtesy would remain her top priorities. She directed all officers and staff to perform their duties with honesty, dedication, responsibility, and a strong spirit of teamwork so that citizens could receive the best possible government services.
During the meeting, the revenue staff gave the newly appointed Assistant Commissioner a comprehensive briefing on the tehsil’s administrative and revenue affairs. The officials also assured her of their full cooperation in carrying out her responsibilities effectively.
Meanwhile, members of the public and representatives of social organizations welcomed Shazia Rehman’s appointment and expressed confidence that, under her leadership, the administrative system in Noorpur Thal would become more efficient, public issues would be resolved more effectively, and the delivery of government services would continue to improve.
