A meeting of the District Education Review Committee was held at the Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber. The meeting was attended by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Education Muhammad Isa Lali, Deputy District Education Officers (DDEOs), District Education Officers (DEOs), and other officials of the Education Department.

During the meeting, a comprehensive review was conducted of the overall performance of the Education Department, the total number of teachers, vacant teaching posts, the quality of education in government schools across the district, student enrollment, the Summer Camp budget, and other important educational matters. CEO Education Muhammad Isa Lali also gave a detailed briefing on the standard of education, Summer Camp activities, and other ongoing initiatives in the district’s government schools.

Addressing the participants, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber emphasized that teachers must play a leading role in improving the quality of education in government schools. He urged them to help students achieve academic excellence so that government school students could secure top positions and strengthen public confidence in public-sector educational institutions.
He further stated that there would be no compromise on the future of children or the quality of education, assuring the Education Department of the district administration’s full support in achieving its educational objectives.

Later, CEO Education Muhammad Isa Lali briefed the meeting on the registration of the Private Schools Association, as well as matters relating to summer fees and additional charges collected by private schools.
