The Punjab government is introducing a biometric attendance system for teachers in all government schools across the province to make the security and surveillance systems more effective.
According to official sources, the School Education Department has issued instructions to all district education authorities to install CCTV cameras and biometric systems in about thirty-eight thousand government schools across the province within a month.
