Members of Parliament and the Federal Cabinet have hailed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement among Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia.

In their video statements, they termed the Agreement historic and said it has laid the foundation for lasting peace in the region.

They said it is an affirmation that the three countries will stand together at all times.

They paid tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for their efforts in this regard.

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said the Agreement will further reinforce peace efforts in the region.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar said this Agreement is a milestone in the Pak-Türkiye-Saudi Arabia partnership.

Minister for Power Sardar Awais Leghari said the collective resolve of the three brotherly countries for the cause of peace will enable them to establish strong deterrence against any aggression.

Minister for Information Technology Shaza Fatima Khawaja said the leaderships of the three countries have proved that strong leaders bring nations and peoples together.

Ali Pervez Malik, Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, Rana Sanaullah Khan, Amir Muqam and Talal Chaudhary said the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement will further strengthen the existing cordial ties between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.

Others who expressed resounding acclaim for the Agreement included Romina Khursheed Alam, Khael Das Kohistani, Daniyal Chaudhary, Abdul Aleem Khan, Wajiha Qamar, Allama Tahir Ashrafi and Syeda Nosheen Iftikhar.
