Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber visited Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Quaidabad. Assistant Commissioner Quaidabad Chaudhry Haseeb-ur-Rehman, Medical Superintendent of THQ Hospital Quaidabad, senior doctors, medical staff and officers of the relevant departments were present on the occasion.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected the attendance of hospital staff and the duty roster. The Medical Superintendent briefed him in detail about the medical facilities being provided to patients at the hospital.
During the visit, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber visited the emergency department, male and female wards, and the trauma centre. He inquired about the health of patients under treatment and extended Independence Day greetings to them.
The Deputy Commissioner also cut a cake at THQ Hospital Quaidabad to mark Independence Day celebrations on August 14. Assistant Commissioner Quaidabad Haseeb-ur-Rehman, the Medical Superintendent and duty doctors were also present on the occasion.
Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber directed the Medical Superintendent to ensure that all patients visiting the hospital are provided with timely and quality medical treatment. He further directed that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Free Medicines Mission be implemented in letter and spirit.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the cleanliness arrangements at THQ Hospital Quaidabad and directed the hospital administration to ensure further improvement in cleanliness and hygiene standards.
