As part of its ongoing initiative to arrange educational study visits for students of various educational institutions, Radio Pakistan Sargodha organized a visit to Government Anbala Muslim Graduate College, Sargodha. During the visit, honorary certificates were distributed among the students who participated in the Radio Pakistan programme “Shaheen Sargodha.”

The Radio Pakistan Sargodha team visited the college under the supervision of Station Director Fareeha Kanwal. The team was led by Senior Anchorperson Sibtain Baloch and included Nauman Shafiq.

College Principal Professor Dr. Azhar Abbas and Assistant Professor of English Amir Afzal were also present on the occasion. Amir Afzal extended special cooperation to the Radio Pakistan team and facilitated the students’ study visit and participation in the programme.

During the ceremony, honorary certificates were presented to the students in recognition of their participation in the “Shaheen Sargodha” programme and the educational study visit.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Professor Dr. Azhar Abbas appreciated the educational and informative initiative of Radio Pakistan Sargodha. He said that such interaction between educational institutions and a national broadcasting organization like Radio Pakistan was highly beneficial for students. Such programmes provide young people with opportunities to gain a practical understanding of media, professional life and various fields.

Professor Dr. Azhar Abbas said that participation in the Radio Pakistan programme and the study visit had enhanced the students’ confidence and encouraged them to express their abilities. He thanked the management of Radio Pakistan Sargodha and expressed hope that such programmes and study visits would continue in the future for the educational and practical development of young people.

The students who received the certificates also thanked Radio Pakistan Sargodha and said that participating in the radio programme and experiencing the professional studio environment had been a unique and valuable experience for them. They said the visit not only enhanced their knowledge but also improved their ability to communicate their views confidently before others.

Assistant Professor Amir Afzal, Department of English, also thanked the management of Radio Pakistan Sargodha and said that its efforts to familiarize young people with the practical environment of media and broadcasting were highly commendable. He added that such study visits played an important role in enhancing students’ academic capabilities, personality development and self-confidence.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Principal Professor Dr. Azhar Abbas thanked the Radio Pakistan Sargodha team and expressed the hope that collaboration with educational institutions and the programme of study visits would be further expanded in the future.

Radio Pakistan Sargodha continues to organize study visits for students from various public and private educational institutions. The initiative aims to familiarize the younger generation with the practical functioning of radio broadcasting, programming, news, engineering and other related fields while promoting confidence, skills and practical awareness among students.
