Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces (COAS & CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, interacted with a delegation of students from Harvard Business School representing multiple countries during their visit to Pakistan.
The interaction covered regional and global developments, Pakistan’s security outlook, and the country’s efforts to promote peace, stability and prosperity in the region and beyond.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir highlighted the importance of education, skills development and entrepreneurship among young people. He also stressed the need for fact-based analysis to help the younger generation make meaningful contributions in an increasingly volatile world influenced by social media and propaganda.
The Harvard Business School students shared their experiences from their ongoing visit to Pakistan. They particularly appreciated the openness and warmth of the Pakistani people, while also highlighting the country’s considerable potential and opportunities.
The interaction provided an opportunity for an exchange of views on developments affecting the region and the wider world, as well as the role of young people in contributing to peace, stability and prosperity.
