Chief Organizer of Literary and Sports Activities Khushab, Malik Abdul Ghafoor Asif Bodana, has urged the younger generation to actively participate in healthy and positive activities, saying that sports and other constructive pursuits play an important role in promoting physical and mental development among youth and keeping them away from social evils.
Talking to the media, he said that a healthy society is built on the foundation of healthy, talented and capable young people. He added that promoting sports, literary activities and positive creative pursuits among youth could help polish their abilities and turn them into valuable assets for the country and nation.
Malik Abdul Ghafoor Asif Bodana said that continued support and patronage would be provided for the promotion of sports and creation of opportunities for young people to engage in positive activities across Khushab district. He said that organizing sports competitions at the local level was an effective way to promote healthy competition, discipline, teamwork and leadership skills among young people.
He appealed to the youth to spend their valuable time in positive activities, keep sports grounds vibrant and utilize their abilities for the progress and prosperity of the country. He emphasized that all segments of society should play their role in encouraging the younger generation and promoting sports and literary activities.
