An important review meeting of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) was held at the Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber.
During the meeting, matters relating to the assignment of duties to officers and staff were reviewed in detail. CEO District Council, Additional Assistant Commissioner Kaleem Ullah Khan, SDO WASA Chaudhry Abdul Ghaffar, Sub-Engineer WASA Muhammad Rizwan, Encroachment Inspector Shiraz Jutt, Azhar Shah of Public Health, CEO Municipal Corporation Khushab Sundas Rabeel, Gul Hassan of the Highways Department, SDO Buildings Department, Forest Block Officer Najam Shah, PHA In-charge Hasnat Zafar, Muhammad Waqar, District Nazir, and officers from PHA and various other departments attended the meeting.
CEO Municipal Corporation Khushab Sundas Rabeel, Forest Block Officer Najam Shah and PHA officials briefed the Deputy Commissioner on various administrative matters concerning the PHA. The PHA In-charge also presented a list of temporary employees obtained from different departments.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber directed that weeds, bushes and unwanted vegetation along the main roads of Joharabad and Khushab, as well as around parks and government offices, should be removed immediately with the assistance of staff taken from the PHA and other departments.
He further directed that the necessary machinery and equipment required for routine operations should be arranged in a timely manner. He emphasized that officers of the PHA, Forest Department and other concerned departments must personally supervise the field staff to ensure that the assigned targets are achieved effectively.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner issued orders assigning important responsibilities to officers and employees taken from various departments for the Municipal Corporation Joharabad.
