Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has extended his Christmas greetings to the Christian community in Pakistan and across the world.
In his message, he said the Christian community has always played a vital role in the social and economic development of Pakistan. He said the services rendered by minorities in the judiciary, armed forces, education, health and all other sectors are unforgettable and commendable.
The Minister said the teachings of all religions are based on love, compassion, peace and tolerance and are a beacon for us. He said the diversity of religions and cultures is a source of stability for Pakistan.
Sardar Muhammad Yousuf said the Constitution of Pakistan also guarantees all political, economic and social rights to minorities in the country.
