
Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, divided into different groups, is not serious for dialogue with the government.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad today, he emphasized that there should be dialogue but PTI must first abandon its negative posture against the state institutions.
The Information Minister regretted that the PTI is neither interested in the welfare of the people nor want to bring the political temperature down.
Attaullah Tarar said that the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has no roadmap to bring reforms in any sector be it education or health. He said the governance has collapsed there.
The Information Minister said Pakistan will win the war against terrorism. He said the terrorists have no capacity to hit the hard targets.
As regards the year 2025, the Information Minister said it was the year of achievements in every respect for Pakistan. He said it was the year of military might as well as the economic revival.
Alluding to Pakistan’s decisive victory in Marka-e-Haq, Attaullah Tarar said there is an international certification of the fact that PAF shot down seven Indian fighter jets.
He mentioned that Pakistan Stock Market is setting new records which reflect the confidence of investors and businesses in Pakistan’s economy. He said 3.6 billion dollars were received in remittances last month. He appreciated overseas Pakistanis for sending record remittances to the country. He said there is also increase in foreign exchange reserves and efforts are afoot to bring foreign direct investment in the country.
The Information Minister said the world now looks up to Pakistan with great respect in view of the country’s serious political and military leadership.
