Federal Minister for National Health Services Syed Mustafa Kamal has reiterated the government’s strong commitment to strengthening and improving pharmacy services across the country.
He expressed the commitment during his meeting with Director General Health and Director of Pharmacy Services of Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan in Islamabad.
The Federal Minister suggested revising the Pharmacy Act, 1967 and pharmacy curriculum in line with international standards.
He asked them to train pharmacy graduates to effectively meet both national and international healthcare needs.
The Minister directed to constitute a high-level technical committee to review the existing legal framework and propose amendments to the Pharmacy Act, 1967.
