Canadian companies looking to invest in Pakistan’s evolving market

Canadian companies are looking to invest in Pakistan’s evolving market, particularly in livestock, agriculture and other key sectors.

This was stated by Canadian High Commissioner to Pakistan Tarik Ali Khan during his meeting with Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan in Islamabad today.

The High Commissioner expressed the Canadian government’s keen interest in boosting bilateral trade with Pakistan.

The meeting focused on matters of mutual interest and strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.

Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized that Pakistan is actively involving the private sector to increase production across various industries.

He provided updates on major infrastructure projects, including the Karachi-Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway and Sialkot-Islamabad Motorway.

He further said the Kharian-Rawalpindi Motorway is also being opened for investment and it has been planned as a six-lane motorway.
