Under the leadership of District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab, Dr. Ammara Shirazi, the “Meet the Force” program was organized to enhance the professional capabilities of the police force, strengthen discipline, and promote public-friendly policing.
According to details, the DPO Khushab has initiated phased meetings with police officers and personnel across the district, ranging from constables to inspectors, including traffic police staff.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ammara Shirazi stated that the primary mission of the police is to ensure the safety of the public and to resolve their issues in a timely and fair manner. She emphasized that courteous and respectful behavior towards citizens is key to building trust between the police and the community.
She directed officers to treat all complainants visiting police stations with dignity and respect, and to address their complaints on a priority basis. The DPO further made it clear that there would be no compromise on merit, the rule of law, and professional conduct. She warned that strict action would be taken against any personnel found guilty of negligence in duty or inappropriate behavior.
