A farewell ceremony was organized by district police officers in honor of District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali, Captain (Retd) Rai Muhammad Ajmal, on the occasion of his transfer from Mianwali to Multan. Senior officers and personnel from across the district attended the event.
Among those present were SP Investigation Mianwali Azhar Saeed, all SDPOs, DSP Headquarters, DSP Legal, DSP Safe City, DO Traffic, DO CTD, SHOs, and in-charges of various branches. The participants paid tribute to the DPO’s leadership, professional competence, and his significant role in maintaining law and order in the district.
In his farewell address, Captain (Retd) Rai Muhammad Ajmal said that transfers and postings are an inevitable part of service; however, serving in Mianwali was a matter of honor for him. He stated that leaving the district with dignity and success was the result of the collective efforts, mutual cooperation, and spirit of service demonstrated by the entire team.
He further said that during his tenure, the professional dedication of officers and personnel, along with the trust and affection of the citizens, always encouraged him. The love and respect of the people of Mianwali and the police force are valuable assets that he will always cherish.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, SP Investigation Mianwali and other officers presented souvenirs to the DPO and expressed their best wishes for his future responsibilities.
