Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, visited the Nigahban Ramzan Maryam Nawaz Mehman Dastarkhwan established at Sarwar Shaheed Library, Jauharabad. During the visit, he thoroughly reviewed the iftar dinner and overall arrangements made for travelers, underprivileged individuals, and the general public observing fast.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber stated that on the directions of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Mehman Iftar Dastarkhwans have been arranged in all districts, including every tehsil and hospital across the province. He described the initiative as a noble act that carries great reward in this world and the hereafter, emphasizing that special care must be taken of the guests attending the Nigahban Dastarkhwan.
He further added that Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif is closely monitoring the Nigahban Ramzan Dastarkhwan arrangements on a moment-to-moment basis. The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure that no shortcomings or negligence are tolerated in the provision of facilities at the Nigahban Ramzan Dastarkhwan.
ADC (G) Khushab Ghazala Kanwal, Assistant Commissioner Khushab, the CEO District Council, and officers from other relevant departments were also present on the occasion.
