Minister for the Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to extend full cooperation to investors and promote foreign investment in Pakistan.
Talking to the media in Chiniot today, he said the government is determined to provide relief to the public and facilitate the investors.
He said the Board of Investment is actively carrying out regulatory reforms to provide ease to investors and simplify business procedures.
Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said that the government is also supporting students in higher education, technical skills and the use of modern technology.
He urged the business community to promote direct taxation, saying the indirect tax system places a burden on the common people.
