Under the open-door policy of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar held an Open Public Forum where he listened to the problems of citizens and issued on-the-spot instructions to the relevant departments for their immediate resolution. Applicants and complainants were also present on the occasion.
Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber said that the doors of the DC Office are always open for everyone and citizens should present their issues without hesitation. He stated that resolving the problems of the public on a priority basis is the foremost responsibility of the district administration.
He directed the Assistant Commissioner Khushab and officers of the concerned departments that any obstacle in resolving public issues will not be tolerated. He further instructed the relevant departments to ensure implementation of the applications submitted by citizens and present compliance reports.
The Deputy Commissioner said that solving the problems of citizens is the top priority of the district administration, and negligence, laziness, or inefficiency in government departments will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He directed all departments to perform their duties with a true spirit of public service.
