Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sargodha Region, Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan, paid a detailed visit to District Mianwali with the aim of addressing public complaints, reviewing police performance, and inspecting ongoing development projects. He was accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali, Waqar Azeem Kharal, and SP Investigation, Azhar Saeed.
During the visit, the RPO held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at the complaint cell of the DPO Office Mianwali, where he personally listened to the grievances of citizens. He issued on-the-spot directives to the concerned circle officers for immediate action on merit.
Later, the RPO chaired an important crime meeting with the DPO Mianwali, SP Investigation, and all SDPOs. The meeting reviewed the overall law and order situation in the district, progress on under-investigation cases, and the ongoing crackdown against criminal elements. He emphasized ensuring the rule of law at all costs.
Furthermore, accompanied by the DPO Mianwali, he visited the under-construction buildings of Police Station Wan Bhachran, DPO Office, and Qabool Khel Check Post. He thoroughly inspected the quality and pace of construction work and directed that all projects be completed within the stipulated time.
At the conclusion of his visit, the RPO met with the personnel deployed at Darra Tang Check Post, appreciated their high morale, and shared Iftar with them.
