SP Patrolling Sargodha Region Kamran Akhtar and DSP Patrolling Ghazi Abdul Rehman have issued strict directives against overcharging by public transporters.
According to the spokesperson of the District Patrolling Police Khushab, the patrolling police have become active in light of these instructions. Charging passengers more than the fixed fare will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and strict legal action will be taken against violators.
The District Patrolling Police Khushab has appealed to the public that if any transporter charges extra fare, they should immediately lodge a complaint on the Punjab Highway Patrol helpline 1124. The patrolling police will ensure prompt action and immediate resolution of the complaint.
